I chose Cairns Young Voices for my daughter as I wanted to give her the opportunity to artistically and musically extend herself in a fun, safe and supportive environment. Through this experience my daughter gained confidence, musicianship skills, friendships and, most importantly, a love and appreciation of music. Joanne Wright and her team of passionate, nurturing teachers equipped my daughter with the foundations needed to assist her in her studies at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. Enrolling your child in Cairns Young Voices is giving them the opportunity to ignite a lifetime love of music.

We enrolled our daughter Georgia into Cairns Young Voices when she was 6 years old. Even at that early age Joanne was able to identify the ability and interest Georgia had in music. For the past 6 years Joanne and her staff have nurtured Georgia through the progression of her musical learning with programs such as Music Appreciation, Singing Tuition and Choral work.

Cairns Young Voices students have the opportunity to be involved in public performances, musicals, regional performances of Opera Australia/Qld and Eisteddfod preparation. Continuously enjoying music while gaining wonderful experience.
